The Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) is a contemporary art museum in San Francisco that celebrates Black cultures, ignites challenging conversations, and inspires learning through the global lens of the African Diaspora. Their education team designed a new, all-ages art activity inspired by The Poetics of Dimensions on view at ICA SF.
Vicky Lam is the children’s librarian at the North Beach Branch Library, where she enjoys creating a welcoming and interactive space for young readers. She organizes engaging storytimes, fun activities, and introduces children to a wide range of books that encourage exploration and learning. Vicky is passionate about fostering a love for reading and making the library a place where children can discover new worlds and ideas.
Michelle Yi Martin is a multi-disciplinary artist based in San Francisco. Her practice is rooted in the progressive traditions of the Bauhaus and Black Mountain College. In this spirit, she continues as an educator—weaving history, literature, and the arts with her students.
